Cleaning Up After a Hurricane

Hurricane Season!!

We are still within the season and you need to take immediate action if affected by any possible storms. This includes:

1. Remove any possible items that may have come in contact the water within the structure. Solid items in most cases can be sanitized.
2. If possible have dehumidifiers operating as well as fans to help circulate air to help the drying process.
3. If sheet rock was effected then it needs to be removed to at least one foot above water line. If there is any insulation then remove wet area and discard.

Taking these steps once the water event is over will help avoid mold growth within the property and its contents.
